ABOUT ME
I'm Beatrice, a freelance multimedia producer and journalist based in London.
My experience involves producing engaging digital videos and social media content across various platforms.
I have extensive experience working in a newsroom at the center of breaking news operations. I produce news videos, conduct live broadcasts, and coordinate and participate in user-generated content gathering.
I am also a self-shooting field reporter, capable of discovering news stories and producing them in various formats.

Freelancing for the Associated Press, NBC News and BBC
I have been a freelance journalist for the Associated Press Television since 2018 working across several desks. I joined NBC News as a desk editor. At AP and NBC I covered main evens as the 2020 US American elections and the death of Queen Elizabeth II. My passion for social media and video production led me to join Channel 5 News and BBC World Service English, where I produce short videos and contents for their social media platforms.
Reporting & Storytelling
I've worked for London Live television as a reporter. During my time with them I self-shot, interviewed, reported on the field and edited news packages for the evening news TV programme. I have contributed to news publications such as The Times, Wikitribune, The Londonist and The Islington Tribune, where I've published a story on the front page. I've completed work placements at ITV Production and TalkRadio. As self-shooting freelancer I have also produced videos and short documentaries for single clients, one of these was presented during the annual conference of the UNWTO by the Municipality of Venice.

Training at City University of London

I graduated in MA in International journalism at City University of London, where I strengthened my journalistic skills putting into practice what I learned. Throughout the year I produced articles, video and radio news packages, researching stories on my own and running entire news programmes. I made the most out of this practical training and more than once I was able to produce original news contents such as interviews with MPs and with victims of crimes in London. Among other courses, I've done a specialism course on Security and Crime. As my final project I wrote, self-shot and produced Veniceland, a short documentary reporting about the issues related to over-tourism in Venice.
Running my own online newspaper
While doing my Bachelor Degree in Investigation and Security Sciences, I decided to combine my passion for journalism with my studies. So in 2016 I founded an online newspaper, InterNational Security Interest (INSI). The newspaper was the first in Italy exclusively focused on security and social affairs. I’ve launched the project and built up a team of contributors, all of them with a background knowledge of the topics covered. As the News Editor of my own paper I coordinated the team, managed all the publications and contributed myself in the news production. INSI has also published an extraordinary edition of an online Magazine on January 2018.
